Youth Dept Basketball League (YDBL)
Registration is now open for our winter Youth Dept Basketball League (YDBL) for children in Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade! Join us for a fun, active season focused on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun on the court.
Season Dates: January 4, 2027 - March 6, 2027 *Games and skills and drills start 1/9/27*
Location: Hudson High School Gym
Program Format
Grades PK-2
- Meet every Saturday morning during the season
- Participate in age-appropriate skills and drills
- Focus on learning the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment
Grades 1-2
- Meet every Saturday morning right after skills and drills to participate in small-sided games **This will take place in the JR High Gym**
Grades 3-4 & Grades 5-6
- Players will be assigned to teams
- Teams will hold one practice per week based on coach availability
- Games will be played on Saturdays throughout the season
- Emphasis on skill development, teamwork, and gameplay
Registration Deadline: December 1, 2026
Space is limited, and registration will close on December 1st. ***NO EXCEPTIONS*** Be sure to register early to secure your child's spot!
Whether your child is brand new to basketball or has played before, our league provides a positive environment where players can learn, grow, and enjoy the game.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the court this winter!
*This year there is a fee for all players. The league is $20 for each player but there is a discount of $10 for each additional player in the same household. The fee must be paid by check or money order, payable to the "City of Hudson," no later than the parent meeting on December 11th.*
